The following are traditional resources for purchasing wheelchair parts and supplies. They are
NOT recomendations. Generally speaking, these stores all sell parts at high prices which tend to discourage widescale wheelchair repair and DIY builds. But if you need a part ASAP, here are the most established online stores (in no particualar order).

Much of the parts for standard wheelchairs are made in China. These parts are then resold for much higher prices by online retailers. Most retailers sell the same brand or style products. Many high-end wheelchair manufacturers use proprietary designs which hinder the development of an aftermarket supply chain. The end result is lack of choice, expensive and/or poorly manufactured products, and limited availability for wheelchair users.
